Advanced Dairy operations, innovative genetics, and sustainable practices
Our facilities house 3,000 Holstein cows that are milked 3 times daily, each receiving individualized care through advanced monitoring systems and precision nutrition programs.
We utilize cutting-edge technology including automated milking systems, environmental controls, and health monitoring devices to ensure optimal animal welfare while maximizing productivity and efficiency.
Leading the industry in genetic advancement through selective breeding and genomic testing
Our onsite OPU (Ovum Pick-Up) facility allows us to collect oocytes directly from our top genetic females, maximizing the reproductive potential of our elite animals. We have partnered with Boviteq for our IVF services, ensuring the highest success rates in embryo production.
Our comprehensive genomic testing program evaluates each animal for over 50,000 genetic markers, allowing us to make precise breeding decisions that improve milk production, disease resistance, and longevity combined with advanced reproductive technologies.
We operate a comprehensive beef on dairy program where we breed 2/3 of our Holstein cows to Angus for beef production. This strategic approach allows us to feed out all our calves for beef, maximizing the value of every animal born on our dairy.
Our calves are shipped to a feedyard in the Texas panhandle where they are fed to finish, ensuring optimal growth and quality beef production. We maintain around 2,000 head on feed at all times, creating a consistent supply chain from dairy to beef production.
We farm 6,500 acres dedicated to producing high-quality forage for our dairy operation. Our extensive farming program ensures a consistent supply of nutritious feed while maintaining sustainable agricultural practices across our Arizona farmland.
Beyond meeting our dairy's forage needs, we sell premium alfalfa hay from our excess acres to other agricultural operations throughout the region. This integrated approach maximizes land utilization while supporting the broader agricultural community.
Our ranch operation in northern Arizona, located near Flagstaff and Sedona, runs a 350-head cow calf operation across the scenic high country landscape. This traditional ranching operation complements our dairy and farming enterprises, showcasing our commitment to diversified agricultural practices.
The northern Arizona ranch takes advantage of the region's natural grasslands and favorable climate, providing an ideal environment for cattle ranching while maintaining sustainable grazing practices that preserve the land for future generations.
Environmental stewardship integrated into every aspect of our operations
We have partnered with Suburban RNG in Stanfield, AZ to transport our manure to their anaerobic digester facility for methane production. This partnership creates renewable biogas energy while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, transforming waste into valuable energy resources.
We use Ozinga to transport the manure with RNG powered trucks, supporting our mission of sustainability throughout the entire process. This comprehensive approach not only reduces our environmental impact but also generates clean energy that contributes to the local renewable energy grid.
